What Ordic is
Ordic is an operator console for managing servers and publishing static sites. We provide the web app, an agent binary you install on your own servers, and the audit infrastructure that records what the agent does. We do not provide hosting, DNS, or your servers themselves.
Acceptable use
Don't use Ordic — or the agent on your server — to:
- Run botnets, command-and-control infrastructure, or hosting for malware.
- Send spam or operate phishing campaigns.
- Host content that violates the laws of the jurisdictions it's served from or to.
- Probe, scan, or attempt to compromise infrastructure you don't own.
- Reverse-engineer the agent or operator console for purposes of building a competing product. (You can absolutely audit it for security; we welcome that.)
Account responsibility
You are responsible for your server, your data, your customers, and the SSH keys you load onto your boxes via Ordic. We are responsible for the operator console — its uptime, its security, its audit integrity, and the actions of the agent we ship. The line between the two is the agent's wrapper-script catalogue: anything within that catalogue is on us; anything outside it is on you.
Limitation of liability
Pilot software. No SLA promised yet. Concrete SLA terms will land in this section before production GA. Until then, our liability is limited to the fees you've paid Ordic in the 12 months preceding any claim — which during pilot, is zero. We'll act in good faith regardless.
Termination
You can cancel anytime. Hit reply on any billing email, or email hello@ordic.ai. Cancellation takes effect immediately; refunds for unused time on the current month are at our discretion.
We can terminate accounts for AUP violations with notice (24 hours unless the violation is active and harmful, in which case immediately). We'll tell you why, in plain language, in writing.
Changes to these terms
We post a revised "Last updated" date and email account holders 30 days before any change that materially changes your obligations. Tightening our side (taking on more responsibility) doesn't trigger a notice; loosening yours always does.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. That's where Adam lives and where the operating entity is registered. We can override the jurisdiction by mutual agreement in writing — useful if your procurement requires it.
